A new offer for innovation consulting and development within the Plan.Net Group is being launched under the name Plan.Net Innovation. The interdisciplinary team focuses on two areas of expertise. The first is innovation consulting with the aim of boosting companies’ innovation skills and supporting them in the development of digital solutions. The second is the development of concrete products and services. Plan.Net Innovation will be led by Managing Director Marcel Kammermayer and Business Manager Oliver Bruckner.
Munich, 7 November 2019 – Plan.Net Innovation, the newly founded Innovation consulting and development service within the Plan.Net Group supports companies in actively driving forward innovation and rapidly bringing customer-centric, digital solutions to market. The Plan.Net Innovation team is made up of strategists, product developers, designers, business consultants and creative coders who combine new working methods with creativity and technology. Everything is always done in close cooperation with the client and the experts within the Serviceplan Group, focusing on the collaborative aspect and the needs of the (end) client. The first clients, including Allianz, Infineon, HypoVereinsbank and Penny, are already on-board.
“Plan.Net Innovation is the natural progression of our innovation studio”, says Klaus Schwab, Managing Director and Partner of the Plan.Net Group. “By expanding the team, we are further developing our range of expertise and capabilities, creating an even more relevant offer for the market.”
The offering covers two key areas:
1. Innovation consulting
This provides companies with skills in innovation on a methodological level by analysing, optimising and developing existing strategies, structures and processes. The range of services includes innovation strategy and management. From business modelling to the creation of innovation-friendly infrastructures and processes, and even agile project management and coaching. In this area, Plan.Net Innovation employees act as consultants and facilitators.
2. Innovation development
In this area, the team works closely with clients to develop business models, product designs, prototypes and market launch strategies and solutions within sprints. The implementation of new technological possibilities and the intelligent use of data guarantee simple handling for the end user and generate a high added value for the client. Using different, specially developed sprint models, the team accelerates the brainstorming, development and prototyping of digital products and services with a focus on brand and product communication. An essential aspect of this working method is the validation of results through user testing. For this purpose, test scenarios are being developed (in cooperation with Facit Digital) that will enable the qualitative 1:1 survey of end customers in the laboratory, as well as a quick compilation of a larger test panel.
“Compared to traditional consulting, our clients benefit from the fact that they are integrated in the innovation process from the very beginning”, says Marcel Kammermayer, Managing Director of Plan.Net Innovation. “By belonging to the Serviceplan Group, with its international network of experts, we are able to combine strategic thinking with understanding of technology and creativity from very different disciplines and ensure that the solutions developed together are actually implemented.”
Marcel Kammermayer has over 15 years of experience in strategy consulting in the areas of digital product and format development, innovation management and business modelling. He has been Managing Director of Plan.Net Campaign with the Plan.Net Group for over a year now. Oliver Bruckner also brings with him a wealth of consulting experience in digital products and formats. He has been a part of Plan.Net Campaign as a Managing Director since 2016. Before that, he worked as a freelance consultant and interim manager on the corporate and agency side. Plan.Net Campaign has been renamed Plan.Net Innovation in the establishment process.
