The globally active medical technology company entrusts the agency group with the global paid media strategy and purchasing in more than 25 countries. The focus here is on a data-driven, automated and transparent approach to B2B target groups.
Munich, 24th September — Siemens Healthineers is a leading global medical technology company with more than 54,000 employees in over 70 countries. The products, services and solutions offered by Siemens Healthineers help physicians, medical personnel and healthcare providers to prevent diseases and to correctly diagnose and determine the right treatment for people who fall ill so that they can recover faster. Siemens Healthineers has now awarded its international media budget to Mediaplus for the first time. From October, the agency group will manage the global media strategy and purchasing in more than 25 countries. The budget allocation was preceded by a multi-stage pitch, in which Mediaplus was recently able to prevail over several competitors.
The task: The efficient activation of the B2B target group, especially decision makers at health care providers. Their data-driven and automated approach was a requirement on the agenda of Siemens Healthineers. Above all, the medical technology company also wanted to gain absolute transparency regarding the detailed media activities in the individual markets. This is based on a central strategy that is to be rolled out from Germany and the USA in more than 25 countries. Special focus is placed on the core markets of Germany, USA, China, Japan, Brazil, UK and Italy.
